Educated Consumer Project

In the summer 2008, FLF absorbed the Educated Consumer Project (ECP), a program teaching after-school financial education workshops. During its inaugural year, FLF taught approximately 40 students through the eight-week after-school program. Students learn budgeting, banking, credit, insurance and other key financial management concepts. The students are pre- and post-tested to gauge the students’ progress and provide feedback regarding instruction and the curriculum.
