Demographics of students

Grade levels

The grade level of the students depends on the school. While some school generally steer juniors and seniors to electives, others allow all their students to register for elective courses. For this reason, some Financial Management courses have all juniors and seniors, while others have a mix from freshmen to seniors. Some of our partner schools offer the course as a mandatory component and teach to a specific grade or require all students in the school to take the course. Here is a list of the schools and the general grade levels of the students in FLF courses:

  • Anacostia High School – juniors and seniors
  • Ballou STAY – open to all students
  • Maya Angelou Public Charter School – freshman and sophomores
  • SEED Public Charter School – open to all students
  • School Without Walls High School – open to all students
  • Woodson High School – juniors and seniors
  • Youthbuild Public Charter School – mandatory for all students
Socio-Economic and Racial Composition
